Images from the WhoreCast Live event that took place at the Center for Sex and Culture, Saturday May 18th. This was the opening event for the San Francisco Sex Worker Film & Art Festivel 2013, taking place May 18th - 26th.
The Live event was a wonderful, becoming a mix of talk show, variety/vaudeville, peep show, and a live performance event, featuring-

as well as entertainment by the lovely Lusty Laides.
The WhoreCast is hosted by the adorable Siouxsie Q. The mission— “striving to humanize people in the sex industry. The WhoreCast provides a glimpse into her world of sexwork by sharing the stories, art, and voices of sexworkers.“

Probably a controversial photo, but I like it.
Like Tiemeteaseme notes, this is probably a controversial photo; I still remember the huge brouhaha over the picture of a clothed, not-bound Madison Young breastfeeding her daughter, so I can only imagine the outrage a bound, semi-nude breastfeeding mother might elicit, particularly without any context.
I like to think mom is taking a break from her fetish modeling shoot for an impromptu feeding, but whatever was going on when the photo was snapped, it offers up the perfect opportunity to say Happy Mother’s Day from Happy BDSM! Here’s to all the kinky mamas, both of the roleplay variety and the real deal!

Mourners Gather for Final Farewell to Malcolm Shabazz »
Posted on May 18, 2013 at 11:48 PMA traditional Islamic funeral service was held for Malcolm Shabazz in Oakland, Calif. on May 17th. The service was scheduled to begin 10am PST at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California and was followed on Tuesday by a private burial in Hartsdale, New York, where Shabazz’s grandparents are buried. Another memorial service is currently being planned to take place in New York City.
Shabazz, the 28-year-old grandson of Malcolm X, was beaten to death in Mexico City. After a widely publicized troubled youth, Shabazz had recently gained prominence as an outspoken activist.
Two suspects have been arrested in his slaying.
